Seamless Steel Tube Production Process 

The whole manufacturing process of seamless steel tubes starts from round steel billets.

First, the raw round billet goes through inspection, descaling and cutting, followed by centering treatment. After that, the billet is heated and sent for extrusion or piercing to form a hollow tube blank.

The pierced tube will be inspected and pickled, then lubricated for the next‑step cold drawn or cold rolling process. After cold working, the tube undergoes degreasing and heat treatment to adjust material performance. Straightening is carried out afterwards to correct tube shape.

Subsequently, the steel tube is cut to required lengths, then processed by pickling and passivation for surface protection. Finished tubes will be marked and subject to strict testing inspection.

After passing all checks, products are packed and delivered by land transportation to customers.

Every stage includes quality inspection to guarantee the final tube meets specification requirements.
